An update has been issued on Penta following the shoulder injury he suffered during his “Last Time Is Now” tournament quarterfinal match against Solo Sikoa on the 24 November edition of Raw.
Penta’s doctor, Dr Odiseo, has continued to share progress reports on social media. In a video posted on Saturday, he said that while Penta has shown positive signs in two weeks of rehab, clearance for the AAA Guerra de Titanes event on 20 December will ultimately be WWE’s decision. The post was captioned “Everything will work out”.
On Thursday, Odiseo added, “He is on the right path, and we have good results so far. However, we shouldn’t get overconfident, and we need to keep working together.” When asked in the comments whether the Mexican star will be ready for the 20 December show, he replied, “hope so”.
Penta is scheduled to reunite with his brother Rey Fenix as the Lucha Bros on the card in Guadalajara. They are set to face the Los Gringos Locos 2.0 pairing of Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano.
