Paul Heyman could return to WWE television soon, with reports that the company is developing a new creative direction for the veteran manager.
According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, WWE has a working creative idea to bring Paul Heyman back to television soon. The proposed storyline would see Heyman become involved in a programme outside of The Vision, although he would not completely sever his ties with the faction.
Instead, Heyman would reportedly maintain a connection to the group, particularly Bron Breakker, while becoming involved in another storyline. No specific details have emerged regarding the potential new programme or when Heyman might return to television.
Paul Heyman’s WWE Future And Connection To The Vision
Paul Heyman has been absent from WWE television since the July 13 episode of Raw, when he walked away from The Vision after the group won a tag team championship match. During the segment, Austin Theory thanked Heyman for his praise, but Heyman clarified that his comments were directed exclusively at Maxxine Dupri.
The interaction added to the uncertainty around Heyman’s relationship with the faction and his future involvement in its storylines. WrestleVotes previously reported that WWE officials were divided over The Vision’s creative direction, with differing opinions on what should happen next.
Despite that uncertainty, Heyman is reportedly expected to remain associated with Breakker regardless of the direction WWE ultimately chooses for the group. The latest report suggests that WWE could expand Heyman’s television role beyond The Vision without completely abandoning his existing relationship with Breakker.
While Heyman has been away from WWE programming, he has continued working on projects outside the ring. His Heyman Hustle platform recently launched The Roundtable, a discussion series hosted by his son, Jacob Heyman.
The programme has provided Heyman with another outlet for his work in entertainment while he remains absent from WWE television. Heyman has been a prominent figure in WWE for decades, working alongside some of the company’s biggest stars in both managerial and creative roles.
