Just days after returning to WWE, Paige has already outlined the matches she hopes to compete in during her comeback run.
Speaking on What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon, Paige said she is eager to finally take part in stipulation matches she previously missed, including the Women’s Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber.
“I do want to finally be able to be in the Royal Rumble… and do the Elimination Chambers and all these stipulation matches,” she said.
Paige was forced to retire from in-ring competition in 2017 due to neck issues, just months before the first women’s Royal Rumble took place in January 2018. She recalled watching the match from backstage, unsure if she would ever get the opportunity to compete in it.
“I was happy the girls got that moment, but I was sad because I wasn’t part of it,” she said.
Now cleared to compete again, Paige said she is excited about the opportunities ahead.
“To have this moment where I’m back… my neck is good, I’m wrestling again, there are opportunities… I’m really excited.”
Paige Returned To WWE At WrestleMania 42
Paige recently returned at WrestleMania 42, where she teamed with Brie Bella to win the Women’s Tag Team Championship, marking her first in-ring appearance in WWE in close to nine years.
