Pac’s (Benjamin Satterley’s) cause of death as been determined to have been the result of an asthma attack, reports The New York Post.
Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office have concluded that he passed away from bronchial asthma, therefore his death has been ruled as a result of natural causes.
Bronchial asthma is a chronic condition that affects the airways in someone’s lungs, causing them to become inflamed, swollen and narrower than normal. This makes it harder for air to move in and out, particularly during an asthma flare-up.
A police incident report stated that when he was found outside a Des Plaines CAVA in a rental car he had saliva on his shirt and medication with him.
Also in the police report Pac’s phone gave them a sense of where he was headed to.
“I noticed that Google Maps was still open on his cellphone and it was routing him to O’Hare Airport,” an officer wrote.
The report also states that there weren’t “any obviously suspicious marks upon Satterley nor circumstances within the vehicle.”
When police were investigating a woman called Pac’s phone.
She said “she last spoke to Benjamin on the phone around 1320 hours and he related he was going to CAVA for lunch. He had been traveling for his occupation as a professional wrestler for the past three weeks around the United States and had been in the Chicago-area since Thursday (09/24/2026) or Friday (09/25/2026). She related his flight had been delayed and Benjamin was scheduled on his flight back to the UK at approximately 1530 hours,” stated the report.
According to the report, people inside the restaurant noticed Satterley unresponsive in the vehicle and contacted authorities. Police, firefighters and an ambulance arrived at approximately 4 p.m. local time on Sunday. Satterley was pronounced dead several minutes later.
Pac’s death came less than 24 hours after he competed at AEW All Out on Saturday night. He challenged Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship at the pay-per-view before later becoming involved in the AEW World Championship
