Ryohei Oiwa and Yuya Uemura are your A and B Block winners and your finalists in the G1 Climax tournament for this year.
Before his semi-final match with Callum Newman, Oiwa came down to the ring wearing bull horns In tribute to Hiroyoshi Tenzan. Oiwa has promised Tenzan that he would win the G1 Climax in his honour.
In the final minutes of their match, Oiwa kicked out of Newman’s Prince’s Curse. As Newman hoisted Oiwa up to slam him, Oiwa flipped over Newman putting him in the Grip head lock. Newman attempted to break the hold by whipping Oiwa off the ropes but Oiwa held tight.
Newman finally broke the hold clotheslining Oiwa down for a two count. When Newman went to lift Oiwa up again he again fell into the Grip. He broke out a second time as both men nailed each other with clothesline after clothesline. Oiwa pinned Newman with his spinning clothesline moving onto the finals of the G1 tournament.
Yota Tsuji versus Yuya Uemura was the second semi-final match of the evening. Tsuji gave Uemura a Guerrero Special from the top rope and a Gene Blaster. He still kicked out.
Uemura caught Tsuji as he went for another Gene Blaster suplexing him over. Uemura ran up on Tsuji giving him an elbow to the face. Flying body press off the top rope and a Dead Bolt suplex pins Tsuji, the IWGP Heavyweight Champion.
Uemura and Oiwa will face each other in the finals of the G1 Climax Tournament.
There was an announcement about Wrestle Kingdom celebrating NJPW’s 55th Anniversary. The date is January 4th, 2027 at the Tokyo Dome. In 2028, it will be the same date, January 4th.

Unbound Co. (Drilla Moloney & Daiki Nagai) vs Death Riders (Gabe Kidd & Wheeler Yuta)
So sad that the Death Riders have to stink up NJPW now. Kidd piledrives Drilla on the arena floor. Nagai gets clotheslined a million times in a corners by the Death Riders. Kidd piledrives him. Yuta pins him with the running knee. Perhaps Drilla needed a better partner. Drilla and Kidd push and shove after the match.

Yano punches both Oskar and Ice in the “lower abdomen” from behind. Togi clotheslines them both. Yano rolls up Oskar.
