Oba Femi has warned Cody Rhodes that change is coming.
At Deadline, Oba Femi cut Ricky Saints‘ NXT Championship reign short with a dominating performance. As well as winning the gold for the second time, Femi also secured his place at Saturday Night’s Main Event, where he will now face Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
In a video on social media, Femi said the biggest factor in his victory over Saints was “change,” before promising that same change was sending The Destroyer to take on The American Nightmare on December 13th.
“The biggest factor is change. Change came knocking at the door of Ricky Saints tonight and it asked for his title, and he had no choice but to relinquish because change always wins.”
“When change met the dinosaurs, he sent the meteor. When change met man in the Old Testament, he sent the flood. And when change comes to the main roster asking for Cody Rhodes, he will send the ruler, the destroyer, the bringer of war, Oba Femi!”

Cody Rhodes Set For Huge Rematch Over Undisputed WWE Title
While he has Oba Femi to contend with in less than a week, Cody Rhodes is reportedly set for a bigger challenge with the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line. In the closing moments of Survivor Series, Rhodes exchanged tense words with Roman Reigns. According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the moment was planting the seeds for The Tribal Chief to face Rhodes for the gold for the third time. While it has been suggested that the bout could happen at WrestleMania 42, there are seemingly multiple other possible scenarios for the Showcase of the Immortals.
