A new grudge match is officially set for NXT New Year’s Evil, as tensions between Tatum Paxley and Izzi Dame finally boil over.
During last night’s episode of NXT, the two rivals came face-to-face in the ring, where Paxley confronted Dame and issued a direct challenge for the upcoming special. The confrontation quickly turned heated, with Paxley making it clear she wanted a one-on-one match and no outside interference.
Paxley specifically demanded that both Niko Vance and Shawn Spears be barred from ringside, ensuring there would be no repeat of their previous encounter. The stipulation was set following their last meeting at NXT Deadline 2025, where Dame secured the victory after interference from The Culling.
NXT New Year’s Evil 2026 Lineup
With the challenge accepted, the match was made official for NXT New Year’s Evil, scheduled for January 6, 2026, at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
The bout joins a growing card for the special event, which now includes:
