NWA Powerrr results – 09/12/2026

Hear ye! Hear ye! On this NWA Powerrr, Bryan Idol puts his National title on the line in a three-way match against the former champion, Mike Mondo. But Slade, his tag partner in the Wrestling Machines and a fellow Federation of Champions member, is the third man in the match.  Also, King Trevor I and his Royal Court will battle The Slimeballz and company in a Knights of the Round Table match in the main event.

(Author’s Note:  If some of you casual fans were wondering who Lou D’Angeli is, you might remember him from such gimmicks as “Sign Guy Dudley” and “Lou E. Dangerously.”  And now you know the rest of the story.)

This match will be contested under Television title rules, with 6:05 on the clock, and Shaw comes in swinging.  She remains in control throughout the match, but The Supreme gets a roundhouse kick at 4:24 to cover for two.

At one point, Collett gives her a choke on the ropes, and Veil then goes to a submission with an armbar, but Shaw fights through the pain.  She gives the champ a belly-to-back suplex with 3:11 on the clock, and Veil covers with a count of two.  Shaw gets a second wind and hits a spinebuster to cover for two with 2:19 remaining.  Now Veil hits with a one-knee backstabber variation with 1:44 left but still can’t put her away.  She attempts her Bloodbath finisher, but it is averted, and Shaw hits the Shock and Awe for a two count, then transitions to a crossface.   With 0:50 on the clock, Veil fights through the pain.  Collett interjects again, and she clocks D’Angeli on the outside.  Shaw interjects until Veil delivers the Bloodbath and gets the win with one second remaining.

Ladder Match for the NWA National Championship: Bryan Idol(c) vs. Mike Mondo vs. Slade

Aron Stevens is at ringside…but in whose corner between Mondo and Slade?

The bell rings, and it almost feels like a handicap match as Slade and Mondo go to town.  Idol holds his own and then swings at Stevens, but the Wrestling Machines double-team the champ.

Slade pulls out a ladder, and he and Mondo use it as a weapon to hit Idol in Idol’s midsection.

They then use an atomic drop to a bulldog combo on the ladder, which lays out the champ.  Mondo goes out into the crowd where Idol’s mom is in the front row, and he takes that moment to get in her face.  Once he gets back in the ring, Slade is climbing the ladder until Mondo pulls him off to climb, and if I may channel a quote from Cool Hand Luke: “What we have here is a failure to communicate.”

Mondo goes out for more jawjacking, and Idol’s mom slaps him hard, because Long Island women are built different.  Idol climbs and gets stopped, so he dives down and then…

We’re back, and Idol climbs again, but Mondo and Slade get in the way, so he takes care of them.  Slade manages with a suplex on Idol from the ladder, who hits a cutter on Mondo.  He suplexes Mondo on the ladder, but then he comes back for Gut Check Time on Idol.  Mondo with a diving Headbutt from the ladder belly flops, and then gives an Idolizer to Slade.

Stevens climbs with the loaded glove but gets sent down the hard way as Idol retains and is still The Looks That Kill.

Now on The Carson Drake Experience, the NWA Tag Team champions, The Country Gentlemen and Joe Cazana. As for their trip to Europe, it was something else.  But they will defend their title against the former champions, Blunt Force Trauma.  As Draske notes, the Gentlemen will do it…By the Book (even though he’s ape-ing Papa Joe’s line).

Knights of the Round Table Round Tables Match: King Trevor Murdoch The First and The Royal Court (Squire Franks, Sir Michael the Duke of Knox, and Jacob the Necromancer) vs. The Federation of Champions (The SlimeBallz, Buster, and Lockjaw Drake)

Like the Samhain 2023 PPV, they load up the gimmick, and you gotta win with an opponent in a round table (no other shapes may apply).

Stevens is out with his stable, but gamely after the last match.  Now King Trevor is out, and this is a regal entrance full of Fire and Ice.  Also allow me another…

Drake and Franks start, and the Squire is looking good until he’s tripped up by Stevens.  The ref sees this and ejects him from ringside.

Now it’s a Pier Eight brawl, and the Slimeballz set to hurt Franks with a rectangular table, and the match continues (which is made funnier as Davis explains to the Philly crowd you have to win through a round table, since I assume this crowd has no concept of geometry).

Jacob tries to cast a spell, but Drake stops him, as does Buster.  There is chaos outside the ring while Buster…err, busts up Jacob and slams him through another (rectangular) table and then…

We come back, and Murdoch is laying a royal beatdown, and he and the Duke of Knox knock Drake outside with a high/low on a (rectangular) table.

They go up the ramp, and it is a slobberknocker, and Stevens appears as a Templar knight again.

Chantz dives on everyone outside, and just when things can’t get any more insane, May Valentine comes down in a white dress, and she attacks Stevens.

Hell hath no fury like a bride scorned, folks (and that’s why I stay single.)

Duke of Knox rams the Slimeballz through a ( rectangular) table in the corner.  Buster climbs up, and Jacob blows powder in his face.  Franks slams him with a chair, and Murdoch hits a chair, so Buster topples to a ROUND TABLE, and the court wins
