NWA Powerrr Results: March 31, 2026

Opening round antics for the Crockett Cup, plus Kenzie Paige and Sirena Veil heat up their rivalry on this NWA Powerrr

We’re prepping for Crockett Cup season on this NWA Powerrr, and there are teams looking to make a statement at the signature live event. Who will be advancing past the opening round? Plus, Sirena Veil has made waves since her debut in the National Wrestling Alliance. Kenzie Paige is looking to assert her dominance as the top female, and she has the credentials to back it up. It’s certainly going to be a big fight between these two women in the main event.

Before we head ringside, here is an…

(Authors’ Apology: Due to circumstances beyond this writer’s control, I was unable to recap last week’s Powerrr until recently. However, I do need to report, so I’ll mostly focus on the teams heading to the Cup from the last show. The Good Brothers beat Zyon and Bonez with a Magic Killer, and The Colóns managed to defeat Wrecking Ball Legursky and JAC, looking to avenge last year’s loss in the finals of the 2025 Crockett Cup.)

We come to you from the PowerrrStation in Tampa, FL. Joe Galli and Tim Storm have the call, and The Slimeballz are out in slime-inspired Uncle Sam outfits, joining the commentary.

Your First Match of the Night is a…

Crockett Cup Opening Round Match: The Wrestling Machines (Mike Mondo and Slade, with Aron Stevens)(No. 4 Seed) vs. Hayden Backlund and Pretty Boy Smooth (with Pastor C-Lo) (No. 15 Seed)

Backlund is the nephew of WWF champion Bob Backlund, and The Progeny is an interesting contrast to the Powerhouse Smooth. Mondo is no stranger to tag team wrestling, and while there is less Spirit Squad, he and Slade complement each other as a team. Also of note, The Slimeballz tried to get Stevens’ attention throughout the match, and I’m starting to understand why he continues to ignore them every chance he gets.

Backlund starts against Slade, and his amateur wrestling background shines through. A tag to Smooth, and he quickly overpowers the Wrestling Machines. Back to Backlund as he comes down with a double axe handle on Slade’s arm, and then goes to a sliding clothesline for a two count.

Things are looking good for the 15th-seeded tag team until he gets tripped up by Stevens and crotched on the post when the ref’s back is turned. Now, Mondo and Slade take turns beating him down, and The Wrestling Machines make him a Progeny in Peril. Just as they set for a double team move, Backlund rolls to Smooth for the hot tag, and he is an Urban Playboy en Fuego. Tag back to Backlund, and Smooth tosses him to Slade for a cutter. He attempts the crossface chicken wing made famous by his uncle, but Slade counters and locks in the Sladelock for the Progeny to have to tap out.

Your Winners via Submission, and advancing to The Crockett Cup: The Wrestling Machines

Stevens is with the Federation of Champions (and The Slimeballz) and cuts a post-match promo saying this is what victory looks like. Even Carson Drake predicts it will be The Drakes and the Wrestling Machines in the finals. The Slimeballz want to join, much to Stevens’ chagrin.

Now for women’s action with…


Natalia Markova vs. Herra

This is a non-title match as The Crush goes against the mysterious Herra.

As Markova goes through her elaborate entrance, she attacks from behind and looks dominant early on in the match. Markova finds a way to get back in control and lands a bulldog on Herra for a count of two.

Herra comes back with a running senton for another two count, and she continues to pick apart the champ. Markova fires back up, but she stops that comeback with a slam and a running twisting splash, but she still can’t put the champ away.

A Whip to the corner, and she attempts the Beautiful Disaster, but Herra evades the move. She can’t duck away twice, and a double arm DDT secures the victory for Markova.

TVMA has a message from La Princesa, who has eyes on Markova and wonders why certain people, like Liviyah Vale, can jump ahead of her for a title shot at The Burke (which is an odd thing to say). Crockett Cup opening round Match: The Southern 6 (Kerry Morton and Alex Taylor) (No. 5 Seed) vs. The Hardway (Jack Vaughn and Dalton McKenzie) (No. 12 Seed)

The Six are the 2024 Crockett Cup winners, and they want to get back on top again, but the NWA Chicago Tag Team champions are standing in their way.

“Thrillbilly” Silas Mason is out on commentary, and let’s just say he is high on the Six’s chances (not that way, like Galli was suggesting).

At the start, Morton locks on with a mustache twist on Vaughn (and whatever image you’re thinking, get your mind out of the gutter). It isn’t long before he and Taylor find themselves unable to answer to The Veteran.

A tag to McKenzie, and he gets reps on Morton before giving him a gorilla press slam.

Then he drops him on the apron edge, and Vaughn lands with a leg drop. He attempts a big boot, but Morton dodges, and Vaughn is caught on the ropes, which hurts his…err, little Veterans. The Southern Six cut the ring in half, and The Veteran finds himself in Peril. They shoot him to the ropes, and Vaughn gets a double DDT on Taylor and Morton. There’s a hot tag to McKenzie, and he comes in the Hardway and en Fuego. It isn’t long before The Six get back on track and lay out McKenzie with the Six Speed finisher.

Natalia Markova cuts a promo on how TVMA disrespected Liviyah Vale last time on NWA Powerrr. The champ feels there is no way to be treated, and she offers the newcomer a title shot at The Burke next week.

(Author’s Gripe: I hate to be an armchair director, but if this segment happened before Nieves’ rant, this would’ve flowed a little better. But, here we are.)

Meanwhile, at Dr. Vik’s Abode, everyone is there for Tiffany Nieves’ birthday, and let me say it is a lot to process, especially as Kylie Paige defers to the elderly.

Kyle Davis is in the ring with Daisy Kill, and he can’t handle the nastiness in Tampa, but he has bigger fish to fry.

Well, actually, it’s more of a small matter between…

Daisy Kill vs. Eric Smalls

For his part, Kill takes him lightly, but Smalls shows his power with a fireman’s carry to a slam and a step up enzugiri. Kill finally clotheslines him and proceeds to beat down the Half Pint Punk. He takes off his belt, but the ref pulls it away and sets it aside. That’s when Smalls takes a shot to his…err, little Kills, and a roll up stops the Reign of Terror.

After the match, Smalls ties his shoelaces together as a final act of humiliation

The Hex aren’t intimidated by TVMA, and they can’t help but notice that anyone around Nieves tends to leave. That said, they see the giant in Gretta, and she is a giant, but still a little green. A Green Giant if, you will (and I hope B&G Foods doesn’t get wind of this). Either way, Allysyn Kay and Marti Belle are looking forward to putting a Hex on TV MA.

Back at Nieves’ birthday, she gives a speech, is having a Bueno year, and will claim the Women’s title this year. Dr. Vik also has a proposal, but La Princesa says in no uncertain terms that he is not man enough for her.

Ouch! And this is why I stay single.

Now it’s time for your main event between…


Kenzie Paige (with Tommy Henry) vs. Sirena Veil

Veil is now given the moniker “The Supreme”, and she does have a presence that would back that up. Galli notes that both women have faced each other in the NWA’s Kross Fire Wrestling territory, and we may see some of that action tonight.

They lock up, and both are evenly matched. Paige gets the advantage with a head scissors takedown, then goes to a basement dropkick for a two-count.

Veil catches her between the ropes and gives multiple kicks to her sternum.

She follows with a senton to a cover, but Paige kicks out. Veil kicks her head, and Paige grabs her leg and nails her hard with a forearm. She fires back with a roundhouse kick, and they both go for a running clothesline that knocks out both competitors. They get up to a vertical base and fire live rounds, but Paige starts to get her second wind.

She dropkicks Veil outside and then gives a double stomp to her back on the apron edge. Paige rolls her back in the ring to cover, and Veil kicks out. Veil lands with a backbreaker to a leg drop and covers for the one, two…no dice. Now she attempts her Bloodbath finisher, but Paige escapes. Veil catches Paige in a triangle choke and has it cinched in. She goes to the ropes to break the hold, but Veil ignores the ref’s commands, and that means…

Your Winner via Disqualification: Kenzie Paige

After the match, Veil still has the hold on. Henry comes in to help his daughter, and out comes” Hollyhood” Haley J with a vicious power slap that knocks him out. It looks like this is the beginning of a feud as the show comes to a close.
