There is a lot of commotion on this NWA Powerrr as Thom Latimer attempts to regain the Ten Pounds of Gold from "Thrillbilly" Silas Mason at Samhain.

NWA Powerrr Results: January 27, 2026

On this final episode of NWA Powerrr, the season of Samhain draws to an end. But there are three titles in contention on this signature event. The NWA Tag titles are up for grabs between The Immortals and Blunt Force Trauma. Natalia Markova defends The Burke against Shotzi Blackheart. But the big one is the Ten Pounds of Gold held by β€œThrillbilly” Silas Mason, and Thom Latimer has a chance to regain the belt he lost at NWA 77.

NWA World Tag Team Championship: The Immortals (Odinson and Kratos)(c) vs. Blunt Force Trauma (Carnage and Damage)

Blunt Force Trauma is without the services of Aron Stevens, after being unceremoniously dumped.

Before we get a chance for ring announcements, BFT jumps the champions. The whip Odinson to the ropes, and he manages to send Carnage out to the floor. Once things settle, the bell rings, and he works over Damage with Asgardian uppercuts. A tag to Kratos, and he chops Damage in the corner and works the body. Back to Odinson, and he rushes to the corner. Damage moves away, and Odinson hits the post, tumbling to the floor, which then leads to…

Ads (Which is mostly Carson Drake trying to figure out a name for the group of winners for their stable. Cue Aron Stevens, and he has a good one: The Federation of Champions…and the Slimeballz.)

We come back, and Odinson is an Asgardian in Peril as Blunt Force Trauma isolates one half of The Immortals. He fights out and gives a neckbreaker to Damage, and starts to crawl to his corner. A hot tag to Kratos, who is the Most Feared and En Fuego, even showing some aerial moves with a moonsault to Carnage for a two count. The match breaks down, and Kratos gives a Pele kick to Carnage, and then they achieve Immortality on the Blunt Force Trauma member to retain.

We see the Natalia Markova promo from last week, and she is excited to face Blackheart. That led to an interruption from the challenger, who reminded The Crush that she beat her back in 2019 and that this won’t be any different.

The Paige sisters reflect on their loss to the Cazanas, but they are elevated in the women’s tag division and have their eyes on the prize, currently held by TV MA: the NWA Women’s tag team titles.

The Holy Grail talks about Argento making a mistake, but they don’t. For now, they’ll Keep it Player, and here’s an Amen.

NWA Women’s World Championship: β€œThe Crush” Natalia Markova (c) vs. Shotzi Blackheart

The action starts, and the champ takes Blackheart down, yet the indie darling is no slouch. At one point, all poise goes out the window as Marokova goes for a Thesz press and mounts with punches, but Blackheart gives as good as she gets. A running Bulldog by Markova, followed by a split leg drop, allows for a cover of two. Then there is the first mistake by the champ as she goes over the ropes and Blackheart dropkicks her to the crowd, and they brawl up the Samhain stage.

It’s a slugfest, and Blackheart knocks her down hard with a clothesline. She rolls Markova back in for a pin and gets a two count. It’s all Blackheart running the champ ragged with her unorthodox offense, and then a cannonball in the corner gets another count of two. Kicks fly from the challenger, and Markova ducks and hits a desperation cutter. They battle up to a vertical base, and it’s Chops Ahoy. Markova connects with a roundhouse kick to a Jazz Stinger, but she kicks out at two. Now it’s Blackheart with a spinning neckbreaker for a two count, and then hits a question mark kick followed by a suplex to the corner turnbuckles.

Another cannonball misses the mark, and Markova regroups to launch with a missile dropkick, followed by the Beautiful Disaster and a DDT, which ends it.

We see a replay of Murdoch’s loss to Hammerstone at Samhain. Latimer has a shot at the title, he ponders, and Cardona demanded a title shot, but not him. Why can’t he be a three-time champion?

NWA World Heavyweight Championship: “Thrillbilly” Silas Mason(c) vs. Thom Latimer

Mason comes out in purple trunks and a royal purple hood, looking like a Tennessee Druid. Then out comes Latimer, with laser focus, according to the commentary. Before he can get in the ring, Cardona Pearl Harbors Latimer from the crowd and stomps him down.

He gets in the ring and demands a title shot, as that is what was promised to him. That brings out NWA owner Billy Corgan, and after a beat, he talks to the ref, who delivers the message to ring announcer Kyle Davis.

Since the card is subject to change, Davis announces that the following match will now be contested as a…

Peachtree Street Fight for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship: “Thrillbilly” Silas Mason(c) vs. Matt Cardona

Cardona is a bit miffed that Corgan outsmarted him, but he now has a shot at the Ten Pounds of Gold, while Latimer is helped to the back.

The bell rings, and they lock up, and Big Daddy Thrill is in the driver’s seat. Cardona knows he messed up and runs out and back into the ring, hoping for a sneak track, but no such luck. He dumps Mason out of the ring, but the champ pulls him along, and they go blow for blow. Mason chases Cardona into the backstage area and receives a boot, tumbling down the stairs of Center Stage. Mason starts to get up, while Cardona brandishes a steel chair. Mason gets it in his hands, and Cardona kicks it away. He still has the weapon and goes for a swing and a miss, hitting the ring post. Cardona punches away, and Mason is left a little bloody upon entering back in the squared circle.

Reboot in the corner, followed by a second. Cardona feels confident and goes for a third and eats a big boot from the champ from Blount County. Mason calls for reinforcements, and out comes Alex Taylor. He has a steel chair and swing,s but clocks his Southern Six partner by accident, and that leads to…

Ads (El Dragon Nihan and Big Strong Mims head to a rematch next week, and The Immortals ask who’s next. Maybe The Good Brothers have some input into that. Either way, that is Too Sweet.)

We come back, and Cardona is rocking the champ as he nails him with a drop toehold to a chair seat. He goes for a swing and misses, but the chair bounces in his face, and Mason unleashes with a lariat.

Now Eric Smalls is out to…I’ll be kind and say “enforce.” In any case, he stops Cardona from grabbing the chair, and The Indy God is a little incensed. He crawls away and then encounters Mason. Smalls connects with a shot to the…err, little Thrills, and Mason shrugs it off. Cardona kicks the uprights for a field goal, and down goes the big man like a redwood. Cardona and Smalls share a little moment, until he hits him just as hard in the Cardona cranberries.

Both men are trying to shake off the aftereffects of the Half Pint Punk, and Mason hits a running powerslam and covers for one, two…whoa, Trevor Murdoch pulls away the ref, saying he wants a title shot. Mason is distracted, and a DDT by Cardona finds the mark. Before he can capitalize, Murdoch gives a spinebuster to Cardona, and it’s an even playing field again.

Once the combatants recover, Cardona attempts Radio Silence, but it is countered into a powerbomb, and Mason covers for one, two…kick out. Now he eats a steel chair to the face, and Cardona lands an avalanche Radio Silence, and it’s a cover of one, two…ohhh, so close. Cardona grabs the chair, but a bandaged Latimer comes out to make the save, pulling the weapon from his hands. Mason delivers the ThrillRide and locks in a crossface chicken wing, where Cardona passes out.

Mason is still on a tear and goes to pummel Cardona until the ref presents the belt, and that calms him down. As he celebrates with Sweet Charlotte, Latimer is back and clocks Mason, visibly frustrated that his title opportunity was taken from him as the show draws to a close.
