NXT, Evolve superstar Cyrus Habibi-Likio (Kai Kavari) has left WWE.
In a social media post, Kavari explained that it wasn’t an easy decision for him to make.
“Most of you know I have signed a three year contract with WWE but I have decided to step away,” he said before listing the reasons why.
He said previously it has always been about himself chasing a dream but now he has a third child on the way and his family back home.
“I feel that our life belongs in California with out family,” he said.
Kavari is also finding it difficult to carry on his real estate business in California while working for the WWE in Florida.
“We you start in WWE you don’t get paid the most. Potentially, you could make bread but I am not at a time in my life where I can live off potential,” he said claiming he can make main event roster money back home with his real estate business.
He also wants to be able to spend more time with his church and the community there instead of travelling all the time.
He thanked his WWE trainer Matt Bloom and everyone else who supported him in WWE.
He wrestled as part of Evolve. He had nine matches in WWE, NXT.
Kavari played college football for the Oregon Ducks and the Boise State Broncos. He also had a stint with the Memphis Showboats.
