It was a war among the Dogs as the two Bullet Club War Dogs teams went face-to-face at today’s NJPW World Tag League event.
In the main event it was the IWGP Tag Team Champions, The Knock-Out Brothers (Oskar and Yuto-Ice), against David Finlay and Hiromu Takahashi.
Hiromu taunts Ice and labels him with chops. Ice answers with a laugh, a smile and some nasty kicks. Hiromu gains an advantage when Ice bounces off the ropes and Finlay kicks him in the back. Hiromu shoves Red Shoes in The Knock-Out Brothers’ corner. He and Finlay double team Ice with double back elbows. Finlay slams Hiromu onto Ice.

Because the official didn’t see the tag though Finlay and Hiromu must redo it. Finlay dares Ice to punch him and every time he does he cranks down on his arm lock. Finlay stomps Ice in a corner, Steve Austin style. Hiromu tags in chopping Ice down in a corner. Oskar has had enough. He runs across the ring knocking Finlay off the apron. Oskar starts chopping and stomping Hiromu down when he tags in.
The starch has been taken out of Hiromu. Ice batters him around the ring. When Oskar tags back in he puts Hiromu in a bear hug. Hiromu puts Oskar in a head lock. Oskar slams Hiromu into a corner. Finlay tags in throwing Hiromu into Oskar. Finlay tries to lift Oskar up into a Tombstone Piledriver. Oskar backdrops his way out of it. Oskar catches Finlay off the ropes slamming him down hard.
Hiromu escapes both Knock-Out Brothers. He shoves them into each other. Oskar runs at Hiromu. Hiromu low-bridges him out of the ring. Finlay blind tags himself in. Ice hits Hiromu with his running kick. As he attempts to pin Hiromu, Finlay runs into the ring and rolls up Ice for the win.

Monster Sauce (Lance Archer and Alex Zayne) versus House of Torture (Ren Narita and Sanada) – B Block

Lance Archer tosses Narita around the ring like he was nothing. Archer has both men by the throat. They rake his eyes and toss him off the ropes. He body splashes them both. Archer picks up Zayne slamming him on both Narita and Sanada. Sanada pulls Zayne out to the floor smashing him into the ringside barricade three times. Archer stands over Zayne yelling at him to get up and back into the ring. Sanada chokes Zayne over the steel barricade. Archer cannot stand being taunted by Narita any longer. He shoves the official out of the way and chases him around the ring.
“I will knock you out,” he growls.
Sanada pitches Zayne to the floor. As Sanada distracts the official, Narita hits Zayne with a steel chair in the stomach. Narita runs across the ring punching Archer in the mouth as he stands on the apron. Archer no sells it. Narita shoves the official out of the way spitting water into Archer’s face to anger him even more. Archer is hot-tagged in. One boot from Archer sends Narita crashing to the mat. A stunned Narita and Sanada are in opposite corners. Time for some back and forth running elbows from Archer.

Narita escapes Black Out. He lures a charging Archer into a corner ripping off the turnbuckle pad. Archer crashes into the exposed steel. Narita has the official’s attention so that Sanada can retrieve his guitar. Archer knocks the guitar out of Sanada’s hands. Sanada flips right out of a chokeslam and pulls the official in as Archer charges. With the official down, Sanada low-blows Archer. Kanemaru runs in with his bottle of whiskey. Archer moves out of the way. Kanemaru spits his whiskey in Sanada’s face. Archer chokeslams Sanada. Archer slams Zayne on top of Sanada. Archer pins Sanada.

TMDK (Zack Sabre Jr. and Ryohei Oiwa) versus The United Empire (The Great-O-Khan and Callum Newman)
Khan trips up ZSJ slamming his face to the mat. Khan puts ZSJ in a modified Torture Rack, spins him around and then slams him hard to the mat. ZSJ tells Khan to do something physically impossible kicking him in the face. Khan fires back with a haymaker. ZSJ slumps to the mat. Khan has ZSJ up for a suplex. Oiwa grabs Khan from behind and German Suplexes him. As he does that, ZSJ flips over both men pinning Khan.
Winners: TMDK (Zack Sabre Jr. and Ryohei Oiwa)
Hiroshi Tanahashi and El Phantasmo versus Shota Umino and Yuya Uemura

Phantasmo and Umino go back and forth at the start, each countering the other. The exchange ends missed drop kick and a double kip-up. Phantasmo hypes the crowd to cheer for The Ace before he tags in. Umino does the same for Uemura. The Ace and Uemura do the same as the pair before them, countering each other’s holds. Uemura gets cheers when he breaks clean. Uemura and Umino go after The Ace’s legs and knees, separating him from El Phantasmo for almost the entire match. A drained and exhausted Tanahashi finally tags in ELP. He knocks Umino off the apron and nails Uemura with a springboard splash off the ropes. He quickly splashes Umino on the floor.
In on movement, ELP springboard sentons Uemura, rolls to his feet, bounces off the opposite ropes for a moonsault and a two count. Uemura pulls ELP for a release German Suplex though.
ELP and The Ace put Umino and Uemura in a simultaneous cloverleaf submission holds. ELP tries to hook up Umino in a CR2 but gets clotheslined. Uemura gives ELP a full-nelson dragon suplex as Umino bounces off the ropes for a clothesline. Uemura leaps onto The Ace on the floor. Umino pins ELP with The Second Chapter, his scoop brainbuster.
ELP, Uemura and Umino salute The Ace as it is his last match, appearance at the Chichibunomiya Memorial Gymnasium in Fujisawa‑city (Kanagawa Prefecture) in Japan.
