Nikki Cross has reflected on the debut of the Wyatt Sicks, saying it’s something that will be remembered forever.
After months of teases, the Wyatt Sicks made their debut on the June 17th, 2024 edition of Raw. The lights in the arena went out after the main event, and the piano beat from Bray Wyatt‘s theme played as a door appeared in the entranceway surrounded by light.
Nikki Cross, portraying Abby the Witch, then appeared out of the shadows, crawling towards Wyatt’s lantern and then pointing backstage. A camera then went through the backstage area, gradually revealing the other members of the Wyatt Sicks and a scene of carnage as wrestlers and backstage personnel were left lying on the ground, having seemingly been attacked by the group.
Finally, Bo Dallas – in his Uncle Howdy persona – brought the group out to the stage, lifted the lantern and declared, “we’re here” in the style of Bray Wyatt before blowing it out to end the show.
‘The Wyatt Sicks Debut Was Special’: Nikki Cross
In a new interview with Chris Van Vliet, Cross discussed the “perfect” debut and the pressure she felt being the first member of the Sicks to be seen.
“The debut was special, and that’s going to live forever. I think that’s going to live forever in people’s minds. It was such a perfect debut, I was the first one to crawl out. I remember that day in rehearsals. It’s the same pressure I put on myself: do not ruin this. Do not ruin this crawl.
“I was like thinking about everything: how I want to move my elbows and my arms and my hands. But you also can’t overthink. You also have to kind of let go and follow your instincts. And at this point, I trust my instincts better than I trust anything else. So, it was such a mixture of get this right, but enjoy the moment.”
After two years in WWE, the Wyatt Sicks came to an abrupt end when Nikki Cross and the rest of the faction were released as part of roster cuts on April 24th, 2026.
The following month, Cross and her husband, Killian Dain aka Big Damo, announced that they had bought the Progress indie promotion and become co-owners of Defy Wrestling. Cross now wrestles under her pre-WWE ring name of Nikki Storm.
