WWE is actively adjusting its ticket pricing strategy, with new details emerging on how those changes are being implemented following recent criticism.
According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, the company has already begun lowering prices in select cases, including for WrestleMania 42.
“What I can tell you is, immediately after this promo, the lower bowl tickets for WrestleMania dropped below $2,000 for the first time,” Alvarez said. “Not by a lot, but they did lower them.”
The move comes shortly after CM Punk publicly called for reduced ticket prices during a high-profile promo on the April 6 episode of WWE Raw. Alvarez added that WWE is planning further adjustments throughout the summer, though the approach will vary depending on demand.
“I was also told that, not every show, but there are shows through the summer where they are planning to lower ticket prices… depending on the market, what they think they can sell.”
The report indicates that events in smaller or slower-selling markets are more likely to see reduced pricing, while major shows expected to sell out may not be affected.
WWE Ticket Pricing Under Fire After TKO Merger
WWE’s ticket pricing has been a frequent talking point during the TKO era, with WrestleMania 42 not yet selling out, adding further scrutiny as the event approaches. With the company now making targeted changes, it appears that the higher-ups are responding to both fan feedback and market performance as it heads into the summer schedule.
