A new TNA Knockouts Champion was crowned on last night’s episode of WWE NXT Gold Rush.
On last night’s episode of NXT Gold Rush, Lei Ying Lee won a Triple Threat match to become the new Knockouts Champion, defeating former Knockouts champs Kelani Jordan and Jordynne Grace.
The finish of the match saw Grace hit a spinning backfist followed by a powerbomb onto Jordan, but Lee got in the ring and hit Grace with a spinning kick and pinned the downed Jordan to get the pinfall victory, picking up her first-ever title win.
After the match, TNA’s President, Carlos Silva, entered the ring and fastened the Knockouts belt to Lee’s waist, and she hugged Silva afterwards in celebration.

Kelani Jordan won the TNA Knockouts Title in an upset victory at Victory Road on September 26, defeating Lei Ying Lee in a match for the vacant title after Ash by Elegance was forced to vacate due to an undisclosed injury. Elegance later announced that she will be retiring from wrestling due to her injury.
