WWE has officially added a World Tag Team Championship match to Crown Jewel 2026, with Penta and Je’Von Evans set to challenge The Vision at the premium live event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 7.
The match was announced during Monday’s episode of WWE Raw following a confrontation involving Penta, Evans, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. The addition brings the number of confirmed matches for Crown Jewel to four, with Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton also scheduled to compete.
The rivalry escalated during the October 26 episode of Raw at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. The show opened with Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn addressing Roman Reigns ahead of their upcoming Crown Jewel Championship encounter.
Zayn also expressed frustration with several WWE stars, including Cody Rhodes and Trick Williams, before being interrupted by Je’Von Evans. Evans confronted the champion, leading to a heated exchange.
Although Zayn initially attempted to leave without facing Evans, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce returned to the ring and announced an immediate Undisputed WWE Championship match.
Evans delivered a competitive performance against Zayn, but the closing moments were overshadowed by outside interference. Penta appeared at ringside carrying his Money in the Bank briefcase, seemingly teasing a potential cash-in on the champion.
However, Bron Breakker quickly arrived and attacked Penta before he could act. The distraction allowed Zayn to regain control of the match, connecting with a Helluva Kick to defeat Evans and retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Following the match, Zayn departed while Breakker turned his attention to Evans. Penta attempted to intervene, but Bronson Reed arrived to assist Breakker.
The Vision members proceeded to attack both Evans and Penta, with Reed delivering Tsunamis to leave their opponents laid out in the ring. Later in the broadcast, Pearce visited Evans and Penta as they received medical attention from WWE trainers.
The Raw General Manager subsequently confirmed that the two would challenge The Vision for the World Tag Team Championship at Crown Jewel. The announcement gives Penta and Evans an opportunity to capture championship gold while seeking revenge for the attack.
