Austin Aries, Ultimo Guerrero & Douki vs. El Desperado, Diego Hill & Mistico – 6-man Tag Team match
Once Mistico showed up, he already had his eyes focused on Austin Aries, which in turn, he quickly skedaddled from the ring. Just as Mistico was removing his jacket, Ultimo whipped him with his own gear. Oof, damn. He wanted to brawl with Aries, but he tagged out, so Douki could deal with the Luchador.
Mostly, these men have been dodging each other, so it wasn’t as interesting as they thought it was. Ultimo and El Desperado have entered the ring as Guerrero stilled his opponent with a heavy chop to the chest. El Desperado only barely remained upright. He tried a shoulder tackle, yet Ultimo’s mass was clearly bigger. Eventually, Guerrero was tossed overboard.
Diego was pissed, extremely livid as he unleashed his anger against Austin. He may have hesitated at first, but he later savoured that final chop. It was extra sweet! Alas, Aries blindsided him with the help of his teammates. That, naturally, encouraged Hill’s team to join in.
Douki, Ultimo, and Austin have been ganging up on the opposition by overwhelming them. Mistico was still winded after Douki kept stomping on him earlier. Later on, Diego almost pinned Douki. He failed, and Guerrero threw him out. Given the confusion, Douki accidentally took out Ultimo as El Desperado delivered a spine buster.
Aries only liked to tag himself in when he knew that Mistico was feeling wobbly, so he could strike cheaply, like the coward he is. Hill was ready for him with a Super Kick that may have knocked Austin out cold. Ha! Mistico was left with Ultimo, however, that wasn’t much of a challenge since he ended Guerrero with La Mistica.
After the match, Mistico made it clear that he wanted Aries’ title around his waist, so he attempted to have a Championship match right now. Austin walked away knowing that he wasn’t going to be tripped up like that.

Backstage with CONTRA Mercs, the Good Brothers sent the Skyscrapers an invitation to a no rules Tornado Tag Team Championship match. Whatever else they said I couldn’t hear their incoherent voices. If anyone read SmackDown’s recap, then you’re aware that I said I bet Baron Corbin was going to show up on Fusion, and low and behold, he did. The footage was filmed on Friday evening after SmackDown, I suspect, in order to for it to be broadcasted tonight. They will engage in that battle in two weeks.
Anyway, I’m still not entirely convinced that the Women’s Division is “red hot” just because commentary sound overly excited about it. They made the wrong decision when they mentioned that a TikTok influencer wanted in on the bloody brutality like it’s some high paying investment deal….
Dear Christ, this is Logan Paul all over again. However, NO ONE gives me a soul-sucking migraine the way Paul does… Corrine Joy, the diva, is going to debut soon. Although I don’t like it, I’m far too curious to not pay attention.
Ikuro Kwon & Shigeo Okumura vs. Glasgow Boys on Top (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) – Tag Team match
A second before the bell rang, CONTRA Unit attacked their challengers, however, they maintained their ground the best they could. That upper hand only lasted a few seconds. Ha! Kwon and Okumura were looking to double team on Woflgang, yet he got the better of them with a double clothesline.
The Glasgow Boys were working as a team when they toppled over Ikuro. Obviously, the man needed a timeout. Ha! Coffey took the relay by making sure Ikuro remained trapped on their side of the ring. It was difficult for Kwon to reach Shigeo for some reprieve. Frequent tags were made in the Glasgow corner.
At some point, Okumura had to intervene by kicking Wolfgang in the head and delivering a Cozy Cutter. That uppercut from Mark severely whiplashed Shigeo. Like wow… Ha! The same fate nearly got ahold of Ikuro if he wasn’t fast enough. Regrettably for CONTRA Unit, they were nailed to the mat after that thunderous double team from our winners.

Understandably so, Lebrone Kozone was irate that someone jumped Teddy Long in his locker room. When we find out who’s responsible, it’s on sight.
Big Damo made his official debut match against Mads Krugger as a member of CONTRA Unit. The beginning proved that neither men could easily extinguish the other the way they would with other prospects. It took a while, but Damo was able to slam Mads on the mat and flipped him to the outside. Krugger was actually staggering…
So much so, that the fall away slam Mads was vining for somewhat failed since Damo’s weight did more harm to Krugger than it did him. It mattered not, Mads was still able to squash Big Damo in the corner a few times. That resulted in Mads’ challenger to come back twice as hard with that body takedown and Senton. That combination of offence is called the Belfast Blitz.
We knew that CONTRA Unit was watching… Once Mads had the momentum, they ambushed him in great numbers. The Sentai Death Squad were dealing with Gallows and Anderson elsewhere. Shotzi came in to help them with a trash can. It wasn’t strong enough since Josef Samael appeared, threw fire at Krugger’s face and stood with CONTRA Unit as the alleged Serpent.
