MLP’s Northern Rising is just over a week away and there are only four matches on tap but…we’ve got two more shows to shore up the card. Let’s see what MLP has in store…
We see footage of Priscilla Kelly celebrating after defeating Gisele Shaw last week for the MLP Canadian Women’s Championship.
MLP Men’s Interim Canadian Champion Stu Grayson versus Dior Nolins
Wow. Lots of boos for Grayson. What the heck did he do to the people? No idea.
He pins Nolins in the time it takes to watch a Tik Tok video.
Winner: Stu Grayson
Grayson addresses Josh Alexander.
“Now you know, the best Stu is an angry Stu,” he says.
Grayson says he needs answers so he is going to go to the man who has his hand so far up Alexander’s ass, he moves his lips.
He demands Don Callis come down to the ring. Callis refuses for health and safety reasons. He then decides to head to the ring. Out comes the champ in a suit no less before Callis can reach the ring. He waves Callis off.
Alexander says this has nothing to do with Don Callis. The crowd boos. Alexander says Grayson has been walking around, beating his chest with his replica championship trying to convince people he is the real deal but he’s not.
“Understand one thing. Daddy’s home now,” says Alexander.
Alexander points to his suit saying Grayson should conduct himself like a professional, like a champion. Alexander offers his hand.
They shake hands but get into a tug of war. Alexander punches Grayson in the face. They start trading punches. Grayson takes Alexander down.
Alexander slides out of the ring avoiding Grayson’s running knee.
A recap of how Kelly won the title and then footage we didn’t see last week…of Nikki Storm entering the ring and bashing Kelly over the head with the belt. She is going to take the title from Kelly and “finish what she started”. Kind awkward this. Why didn’t we see the attack last week?
Alexia Nicole versus Alice Crowley
Crowley climbs to the top rope. Kris Chambers distracts the official so that Taylor Rising can knock her off the ropes. Nicole rolls up Crowley.
Winner: Alexia Nicole
After the match, the trio of heels surrounds Crowley. Jody Threat arrives to even the odds…sort of. She suplexes everyone in sight.
A promo from Crazy Steve in which he reveals to Psycho Mike that he was using him the entire time.
TJP, Johnny TV, Gabriel Fuerza versus El Reverso, Luigi Primo and Mo Jabari
TV tries to hold down Reverso with a unique cover but Reverso kicks out. A springboard back kick takes TV down. TJP kicks Reverso in the head from the apron. TV pins Reverso with Starship Pain.
Winners: TJP, Johnny TV, Gabriel Fuerza
Steve Maclin is released from police custody. Deonna Purrazzo. his wife, is waiting to pick him up. She doesn’t understand what Maclin is doing.
“Why do you think it is okay to fly to my work and attack my co-workers?” says Purrazzo of Adam Copeland.
Maclin thanks Purrazzo for bailing him out but…it wasn’t her. She as happy to let him rot for the night.
Copeland calls Maclin.
Copeland mocks Maclin…calling him “Big Mac”. He says their match at Northern Rising will be his funeral. Maclin’s phone wallpaper is Purrazzo hugging their dog. Awwww.

AEW National Champion Andrade El Idolo versus Karl Anderson
Andrade trips Anderson into a corner, delivers his running double knees for a two count. Andrade stops Anderson off the ropes with a reverse elbow and his DM pins Anderson.
Winner: Andrade El Idolo
After the match, Luke Gallows gets in Andrade’s face. Capitan Suicida arrives with a steel chair in hand but Suicida hits Andrade with a the chair! Suicida takes off the mask and it is Rohan Raja!
