The upcoming AEW World Championship clash between MJF and “Hangman” Adam Page has taken a dramatic turn, with the stakes now significantly higher heading into next month’s Revolution pay-per-view.
Following weeks of tension, the two rivals came face to face on Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite, where a routine confrontation quickly turned into a major development for the title bout. During the exchange, Adam Page argued that their championship match needed more than a standard contest, insisting that a special stipulation should be added. MJF immediately pushed back, saying he wanted nothing more than a straightforward “professional wrestling match.”
Page refused to back down and raised the pressure by making a major offer. He promised that if MJF agreed to a stipulation chosen by himself, he would never challenge for the AEW World Championship again if he lost.
MJF quickly accepted the terms but said he wanted time to consider his options, claiming he does not act impulsively like Page. However, before the segment ended, Page made his own intentions clear by revealing the stipulation he wanted: a Texas Death Match.
The announcement visibly unsettled MJF, who did not appear thrilled at the prospect of stepping into one of AEW’s most brutal match types. The title match at Revolution will mark the fourth singles encounter between the two, with Page currently holding a 2-1 advantage in their previous meetings.

Besides MJF vs. Adam Page for the AEW World Title, there are currently two other matches confirmed for Revolution on March 15, as we will see the AEW World Tag Team Championship on the line as FTR defends against The Young Bucks.
And the AEW Continental Title will be up for grabs as Jon Moxley defends against Konosuke Takeshita in a No Time Limit Match.
