MJF has broken his silence following his AEW World Championship loss on the latest episode of AEW Dynamite.
The now-former champion was defeated by Darby Allin in the main event, after Allin earned the opportunity by beating Andrade El Idolo at Dynasty.
Earlier in the night, MJF attempted to avoid the match entirely, threatening legal action against Tony Khan and AEW’s broadcast partners. However, he was ultimately forced to defend the title.
During the match, MJF resorted to underhanded tactics, delivering a low blow after distracting the referee. Allin responded in kind before hitting four Coffin Drops to secure the victory and win the championship.
Following the loss, MJF took to social media to warn Tony Khan that the situation “will not stand.”
AEW Stars React To MJF’s Title Loss
Ricochet appeared to back MJF’s claims, suggesting he had also been wronged in recent title dealings, while Andrade reacted to the result with a series of emojis.
