Mick Foley has explained the awkward backstage segment involving Divine Dominion at AEW Redemption, saying it was the result of a misunderstanding.
The WWE Hall of Famer appeared in a backstage interview with AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions Megan Bayne and Lena Kross during Sunday’s pay-per-view. The segment ended with the champions telling Mick Foley to “bow down”, but he instead barked like a dog, creating an awkward moment that quickly drew attention from fans on social media.
Addressing the segment on Instagram, Foley joked that he had simply misheard what Bayne and Kross had said.

During the interview, Mick Foley pointed out that Bayne and Kross had yet to defeat Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter, setting up The Brawling Birds as the next challengers for the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship.
