Mercedes Mone is focusing on recovery during her time away from the ring following the loss of the TBS Championship to Willow Nightingale at the end of 2025.
Mercedes Mone has been on a break from AEW since the January 10 episode of Collision, where it was announced she would be stepping away after the title defeat. In storyline, she said she was tired of being disrespected by the women’s division and promised to come after them once she returned.
In the meantime, Mone has been prioritising her health. She revealed on Instagram that she is currently in Cancun, undergoing stem cell treatment at the RejuvStem clinic, and also recently visited the House of Sun spa in Los Angeles.
“So I’ve been really trying to enjoy this time off by really healing my body and taking care of myself,” Mone said. “Because I want to come back to the ring better than ever. I’m going to be very busy in March because I still have a lot of championships to defend.”
She added that the treatment came highly recommended by fellow wrestlers.
“Now I’m here in Cancun, Mexico, for stem cell treatment. I came down to RejuvStem because a lot of my co-workers came down here and told me about their results, so I’m super excited for feeling the best version of myself.”
When Will Mercedes Mone Return To AEW?
While her AEW return date has not been confirmed, Mercedes Mone is scheduled for several appearances in March, including independent bookings in France and Canada, along with a CMLL appearance in Mexico on March 6.
