Mercedes Moné left AEW All In: London as the new AEW Women’s World Champion, but she also suffered a broken nose during her title victory.
Mercedes Moné defeated Willow Nightingale at Wembley Stadium to capture the championship before confirming her injury during the post-All In press conference. The new champion revealed that she broke her nose “right at the beginning” of the match and required stitches. Moné was still bleeding from the injury while speaking to the media following the show.
It is currently unclear whether the broken nose will force Moné to miss any in-ring action or when she will receive clearance to compete again. However, Moné is scheduled to appear on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, where a championship celebration will be held following her victory at Wembley.

Despite the injury, Mercedes Moné described her experience at Wembley Stadium as “absolutely everything”. Her victory also made her the first woman to hold world championships in WWE, CMLL and AEW.
“I’m here to make history, here to change the game,” Moné said. “Another accolade. Keep it going.”
Moné also reflected on attending AEW All In at Wembley Stadium as a fan in 2023, saying the experience convinced her AEW was where she wanted to be. She recalled feeling the “love, passion and energy” inside Wembley that night, describing the experience as having “so much magic”.
Moné returned to the stadium three years later as a competitor and left with the AEW Women’s World Championship after defeating Nightingale. Nightingale was also carrying an injury heading into the match, competing with a broken hand. The severity of her injury and how long it could keep her out of action remain unclear.
