Naomi could be nearing a return to WWE after spending more than a year away from the ring.
The former WWE Women’s World Champion has been absent since revealing her pregnancy in August 2025 and later giving birth to her first child with her husband, Jimmy Uso.
According to False Finish, WWE is now preparing to bring Naomi back in the near future. No specific date has been reported for her return, and WWE has not said what it plans creatively for her once she is back.
WWE Reportedly Preparing For Naomi’s Comeback
Naomi last competed at SummerSlam 2025, where she successfully defended the WWE Women’s World Championship against IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley. Just days later, she and Uso appeared on a bonus edition of What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon, where she announced her pregnancy.
“In my hotel room. Had been feeling a little different, a little weird,” she recalled of discovering she was pregnant. “Just wanted to take a test to find out and make sure, kinda rule it out, not thinking because it’s been a long journey with fertility issues that I’ve had. So yeah, I really just didn’t think it was possible.”
Naomi subsequently stepped away from WWE as she prepared to become a mother. She has yet to wrestle since her SummerSlam title defence, but the latest report indicates WWE is now making preparations for her eventual return. For now, neither WWE nor Naomi has announced when she will return to television or the ring.
