Samoa Joe appears to be nearing an AEW return after Jack Perry called him out during Wednesday’s Dynamite. In a taped promo, Perry told the former AEW World Champion to “come back and make my day,” seemingly setting up a first-time match between the two. While Perry did not specifically challenge Joe for All Out next Saturday, the timing suggests the match could take place at the event. Joe has been absent since losing to Will Ospreay at Double or Nothing in May while filming a new season of Twisted Metal. Perry, meanwhile, has struggled since signing a new AEW contract in July, going 0-6 since his initial victory over Nick Wayne.

Speaking on Cody Rhodes’ What Do You Wanna Talk About?, the 25-year-old said her official title is junior executive, and her role involves reading scripts, taking notes, and attending meetings with writers, producers, and directors. Johnson said the experience has taught her how much goes into producing films and described the knowledge gained from meetings as “invaluable.” Johnson was with WWE from 2020 until 2026, working both as an in-ring performer and later as a general manager.
