Logan Paul says he believes professional wrestling is exactly where he is meant to be following his new WWE contract.
Earlier this year, Logan Paul announced he had signed a new deal that will keep him with WWE on a more full-time basis for the next several years. In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, he explained why he feels the role suits him perfectly.
“I was born to wrestle. I truly believe that,” Paul said. “Every single skillset that I’ve garnered throughout the entirety of my life has culminated into this insane balance of ability that is the WWE, from the showmanship to the storytelling to the improv and intuition that comes with being a wrestler, to the physicality.”
Paul also referenced a recent conversation with former NFL quarterback Tom Brady, where he claimed that wrestling is more difficult than professional football.
What Did Logan Paul Say About Deciding To Sign A New WWE Deal?
Discussing his new contract, Logan Paul said staying with WWE was an easy decision.
“I’m too good to leave all that meat on the bone. The WWE needs me,” he said. “The audience needs me, because there is no one like me. I needed to inject more of myself in this business that I am so clearly gifted at.”
Over the past six years, Paul has wrestled just over 30 matches in WWE, with most of them taking place in 2025. His most recent match participation was in the men’s Royal Rumble match at the 2026 Royal Rumble pay-per-view in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
