Logan Paul wants to set the record straight. When it comes to Bad Bunny he doesn’t agree with his brother, boxer Jake Paul.
Before Bunny even took the stage at the half-time show during the Super Bowl last night, Jake had this to say on social media: “Purposefully turning off the halftime show. Let’s rally together and show big corporations they can’t just do whatever they want without consequences (which equals viewership for them). You are their benefit. Realize you have power. Turn off this halftime. A fake American citizen performing who publicly hates America. I cannot support that.”

X’s AI chatbot has since added this to the post at the request of users: “Readers added context they thought people might want to know. People who live in Puerto Rico has been identified as US citizens since 1917. Additionally, Jake Paul, who has lived in Puerto Rico since 2021, still would technically qualify as a US citizen.”
Bad Bunny was born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory. Currently both Logan and Jake Paul live in Dorado, Puerto Rico. They moved to Puerto Rico mainly for the major tax benefits.
Jake Paul’s response was sparked by Bunny’s anti-ICE speech at the Grammy Awards where he won Album of the Year.
Logan has responded with a post of his own stating: “I love my brother but I don’t agree with this Puerto Ricans are Americans & I’m happy they were given the opportunity to showcase the talent that comes from the island.”

In response to that Damian Priest responded with praise: “Very kind of you to say. You have a platform that can actually mean something to many. Thank you.”
