Logan Paul has opened up about the growing speculation surrounding a possible clash with Bad Bunny, and his comments suggest the idea may be more than just online fantasy.
The former United States Champion recently responded to the backlash over his blunt reaction to Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime performance, revealing that there have been real discussions about a potential WWE match between the two. Speaking on a recent episode of his ImPaulsive podcast, Logan Paul admitted that the idea of facing the global music star has been floated behind the scenes.
“Let’s peel back the curtain. I’m going to stop messing around. Bad Bunny is a world-renowned superstar. He also can be a WWE superstar when he wants. He’s a good wrestler. He can wrestle,” Paul said. “There have been talks about maybe us wrestling. It’s been floated around. I’ve been candid about the fact that I’d love to do it. I think it would be the greatest WWE match of all time. I really believe that.”
Bad Bunny last competed in WWE in May 2023, defeating Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight at Backlash, which generated one of the loudest crowd reactions of the year. Paul, meanwhile, has built a reputation as one of WWE’s most impressive celebrity performers, delivering high-profile matches at WrestleMania and other major events.
What Did Logan Paul Say About His Comments On Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show?
Logan Paul also addressed the viral comments he made about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show on his podcast, admitting that his dismissive response was partly intentional.
“In that regard, any time I’m asked about Bad Bunny, I think that in the back of my mind. To set that up, when I’m asked if I’m excited, saying ‘no,’ one word, now people are talking about it,” he said. “However, there is truth to the fact that I’m a 30-year-old man. I’m not excited about any halftime show. I don’t care. I’d say 80-20. Yeah. 80 being work. 20% like, I don’t care if it’s Bad Bunny performing or someone else.”
Paul explained that much of the reaction was part of a strategy to create buzz, potentially laying the groundwork for a future showdown. He had previously described the idea as a “big money match” that could attract attention beyond WWE’s traditional audience, and now says discussions about the bout have at least taken place in some form.
