WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan has revealed which wrestlers she enjoys facing the most, identifying Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY as two opponents who consistently bring out the best in her.
Speaking on a recent episode of The Undertaker’s Six Feet Under podcast, Liv Morgan discussed her experiences working with different members of the WWE women’s division and explained why she particularly enjoys facing physically demanding opponents. Despite her recent rivalries involving Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer, Morgan singled out Ripley and SKY when asked about her favourite in-ring adversaries.
“My favorite person to work with, I find things about all my opponents that I like, but I guess just off the top of my head, I enjoy working with Rhea. I enjoy working with IYO,” Morgan said. “I enjoy all my opponents to different degrees. I get something different out of it, or they get something different out of it. So there’s things I like about all my opponents.”
Liv Morgan Explains Why Rhea Ripley And IYO SKY Bring Out Her Best
Liv Morgan went on to explain that Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY’s physicality forces her to push herself further in their matches.
“Probably Rhea or IYO [brings the best out], just because they’re both physically dominating in different ways,” Morgan continued. “I like a struggle. I like a battle. I’m full of grit, so I enjoy the physicality that they bring. I feel like it makes me dig a little deeper, it makes me tap into something a little bit different just because I have to kind of match what they’re giving me.”
Morgan and Ripley have shared a lengthy history in WWE, dating back to their partnership in 2022. The pair initially joined forces ahead of WrestleMania 38, where they competed for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
However, their partnership eventually deteriorated following two unsuccessful attempts to capture the titles, leading Ripley to turn against Morgan. The two have remained rivals at various points since then, including a Women’s Tag Team Championship encounter in January 2026.
SKY has also developed considerable history with Morgan, having competed against her in several high-profile matches. Their first televised singles encounter took place in December 2024, when SKY challenged Morgan for the Women’s World Championship.
The two subsequently faced each other in the Queen of the Ring tournament final and another Women’s World Championship match at SummerSlam. SKY also teamed with Ripley against Morgan in the January 2026 Women’s Tag Team Championship encounter.
Although Morgan acknowledged that every opponent offers something different, she made it clear that the physical challenges presented by Ripley and SKY are particularly rewarding. For Morgan, their contrasting styles and intensity give her the chance to show her resilience and elevate her performances in the ring.
