Liv Morgan Expected Back In WWE In Early 2026

The King and Queen of the Ring brackets have been released and some are wondering why Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan is part of the tournament at all. The winners not only get the title of King or Queen of the Ring for a year but also a championship title match at SummerSlam against a world champion from their brand.

Liv Morgan herself has responded with a post on X stating:

I, THE Liv Morgan, am a 3x world champion, 4x tag team champion, inaugural crown jewel champion, MITB winner, rumble winner, & I have no challengers for my WWC because everyone is too scared to challenge me. Also, I have the most dominant faction in all of WWE watching my back so I totally get it.

She then explained why entering is important to her:

These girls are but they’re not dumb. So me being the hard working go getter that I am, have decided to enter and win the QOTR tournament because I am better than everyone else and I want it ALL. Do u understand now?

It should also be pointed out that champions Sol Ruca (Women’s Intercontinental Champion), Penta (Men’s Intercontinental Champion) and Trick Williams (WWE United States Champion) are also participating in the tournament.

The tournament begins on Raw tonight and continues on Smackdown.
