An update has been provided on the identity of the masked man who has been helping The Vision on WWE‘s programming.
Speculation continues to surround the identity of the masked figure aligned with The Vision, following their latest attacks on this week’s episode of Raw. While Austin Theory had widely been rumoured as the man under the hood after Survivor Series, new reports suggest the situation is less clear.
According to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, WWE has intentionally used at least two different performers to portray the masked character on television in order to mislead fans and prevent an early reveal. The additional names involved have not been confirmed.
The masked figure resurfaced on Raw to ambush Rey Mysterio with a superkick and stomp, allowing Logan Paul to follow with a brass knuckle shot. Later in the night, they struck again by stomping LA Knight on the announce table, setting up Paul’s Frog Splash for the main event victory.
The attacks have deliberately mirrored Seth Rollins’ signature mannerisms. Rollins, however, is expected to remain sidelined for several months with a shoulder injury. Dave Meltzer reported that Paul Heyman has been pushing for Theory to join The Vision, both to protect Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed in multi-man situations and to raise Theory’s profile.
Could Seth Rollins Be The Masked Man In The Vision Angle?
While it is possible that Seth Rollins could be the man behind the mask who has been helping The Vision as of late in WWE, it is very unlikely given Rollins’ injury situation, as he recently had to have surgery on his shoulder to repair the injury he picked up during his Crown Jewel Title match against Cody Rhodes and is expected to be out of action until around April 2026.
Rollins was also attacked by Breakker and Reed to write him off of TV on the October 13 episode of Raw, which would likely mean he wouldn’t side with The Vision upon his return to the company.
