LA Knight has admitted that he currently has no idea what his role will be at WWE WrestleMania 42.
LA Knight was one of the competitors in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match, which ultimately saw Randy Orton emerge victorious to become the new number one contender for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Despite falling short in the match, Knight remains one of the top babyfaces on WWE television. However, when asked about his WrestleMania plans on The Coach’s Corner, the self-proclaimed “Megastar” admitted he currently has no details about what he will be doing at the event.
“Don’t worry about the details because I don’t have any,” Knight said. “I know about as much as you know, and people find that hard to believe, but in all honesty, that’s just wrestling.”
Knight explained that the situation is not unusual in professional wrestling, noting that he has frequently arrived at events without knowing his opponent until shortly before the match begins.
LA Knight Fans’ Frustration Over His WWE Booking
The uncertainty has been a source of frustration for many fans, as LA Knight has repeatedly hovered near major opportunities without fully breaking into WWE’s main event scene. In recent months, Knight has suffered several setbacks, including a loss to Gunther in the finals of the Last Time Is Now tournament and a failed attempt to capture the World Heavyweight Championship.
There had also been speculation about a potential WrestleMania match involving Brock Lesnar, with early reports suggesting Knight could have been considered as an opponent. More recent reports, however, indicate those plans may have shifted toward a different direction involving Gunther or Oba Femi.
LA Knight’s Elimination Chamber appearance also featured an unfortunate moment when he slipped on the ropes during a mid-rope elbow drop attempt on Orton. Despite the mishap and the loss, the 43-year-old veteran remains a popular figure among WWE fans.
Regardless of what role he ultimately plays at WrestleMania 42, Knight said he is already looking forward to the atmosphere surrounding the event in Las Vegas.
“I don’t know a lot. I’d like to know more,” LA Knight said. “But all I know is it’s going to be, as it always is, a gigantic week. It’s going to be a gigantic success, people coming from all corners of the world to Las Vegas for what is essentially our big bash. I’m just looking forward to that whole environment, and what that turns into, and that whole week and weekend. I always love going to Vegas.”
