This weekend it is “do or die” for LA Knight. Knight faces champion Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank this weekend.
Speaking with TMZ’s Inside The Ring, Knight admitted that if he doesn’t win the title this weekend, he isn’t sure where his career will go.
“I can’t necessarily say it is my last one ever? I don’t know. I mean it could be. Who knows? I might retire next week. You never know but it’s been so long that this has just been kind of hanging by a string where it’s how so many people ask, ‘How has LA Knight not been World Champion yet?’ And that is a big time question to where it’s almost put up or shut up. Do or die. This is the time to do it and if it doesn’t happen here, it’s just kind of like, ‘Where do I go from here?’” he said.
He was also asked what will happen if he does win and the Money in the Bank winner decides to cash in right then and there.
“It would be totally out of character for me to run but at the same time, if I am on my feet it is a bad idea to come down and cash in on me. Will I be a little less fresh, yeah. I would say the best chance is if somehow I win the match but I am still down. I don’t know how that would go down but short of that, that would be a bad idea especially if I am standing there with a heavy gold belt in my hand,” he warned.
