LA Knight could be nearing a return to WWE television following his recent absence from programming.
The former United States Champion has been off TV since the December 8 episode of Raw, where he was written out after being attacked by The Vision. Since then, questions have circulated regarding his status and when he might resurface.
According to BodySlam+, LA Knight’s return could come sooner rather than later. The report states that he is expected to be back on WWE television in the near future, with a potential return as early as the January 5, 2026, edition of Raw.
Knight’s absence has sparked considerable discussion among fans, particularly given his strong popularity over the past year. Despite consistent crowd support, his booking had slowed in recent months, including being left off the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series. That led to online speculation about possible backstage issues, especially after Knight acknowledged a fan sign suggesting he should be pushed ahead of Jey Uso.
Those rumours were later dismissed. Fightful Select reported that Knight does not have any backstage heat, a claim now echoed by BodySlam+, which states that WWE officials remain very aware of his popularity and continue to view him as a top babyface.
With his return expected soon, attention will turn to how WWE reintroduces one of its most consistently supported stars back into the fold.
How Long Has LA Knight Been With WWE?
LA Knight has been part of WWE since 2021, when he signed with the company and was assigned to NXT. He made his televised debut later that year, quickly establishing himself with his confident promos and throwback charisma.
After spending time in NXT, including a run as the Million Dollar Champion, Knight was called up to the main roster in 2022. Since then, he has become one of WWE’s most consistently popular stars, earning strong fan reactions and solidifying his place as a regular on Monday Night Raw.
