Kit Wilson isn’t done with Jelly Roll.
Speaking to UK’s Metro, Wilson revealed that there was talk behind the scenes of him facing the music star at WrestleMania.
“I mean, there was always a chance that it could have spilt over to WrestleMania. I think, obviously, right now he’s quite busy with Cody [Rhodes] and Randy [Orton]. I love that Randy RKO’d him, thanks Randy,’ said Wilson.
Wilson says despite them not settling things at WrestleMania he has forgotten Jelly Roll beating him on Smackdown.
“I do think there’s unfinished business there. You know, this Jelly Roll guy, I didn’t realize how big of a superstar he was. Maybe I didn’t realize how good he was in the ring. I gave him my time. He gave me his time. I think we’ve got some more time, I do, absolutely, but down the line,” he said.
Back in March, Wilson dropped Jelly Roll after their Slam Poetry Contest one week and he was pinned in a match by Jelly Roll’s chokeslam the next.
