Kevin Owens is set for a WWE appearance this weekend as fans continue to await news on his in-ring future.
During Tuesday night’s WWE NXT episode, WWE announced that Kevin Owens will be part of the festivities surrounding NXT Great American Bash on June 28 at the WWE Performance Center.
The event will feature a tailgate party before the premium live event, followed by a watch party once the show gets underway. WWE also confirmed that Busted Open host Dave LaGreca will be involved in the day’s activities.
Owens has been absent from in-ring competition since April 2025, when a neck injury sidelined him ahead of WrestleMania 41.
Since then, the former WWE Universal Champion has remained involved with the company in a limited capacity, including serving as a coach during the third season of WWE LFG on A&E.
When Will Kevin Owens Return To WWE?
While fans will have a chance to see Kevin Owens during Great American Bash weekend, there is still no official timetable for his return to the ring following neck surgery.
Owens remains one of WWE’s most popular stars, and speculation surrounding his eventual comeback has continued throughout his lengthy absence. For now, however, WWE has confirmed that Owens will be part of the Great American Bash festivities alongside LaGreca at the Performance Center.
