Despite Earning Less, the Powerhouse Sees Her NXT Jump As A Strategic Move
Jordynne Grace is defending her jump to NXT from TNA.
Grace joined the roster this year but made her first appearance during this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match.
On the Self-Made podcast, Grace opened up about her decision to leave TNA, considering it was for less money.
“Honestly, I did take a pay cut but in my eyes it’s an investment. An investment for the future,” she said.
Grace explained that as a performer there are some things that money cannot buy like exposure.
“It’s still incredible money but getting my name out there and having more people follow me and my brand, I feel like that’s going to pay off when everybody eventually gets released. So, I feel like I’ll have an even bigger following when I eventually leave and I’ll be able to capitalize on that then,” she said.
Grace will be the special guest referee in tonight’s Survivor-style inter-promotional match between Team NXT (Jacy Jayne, Jaida Parker, Sol Ruca and Lola Vice) versus Team TNA (Kelani Jordan, Jessie McKay, Cassie Lee, and Mara Sadè) on NXT’s special Showdown broadcast.
