An update has been provided on John Cena‘s role at the upcoming WWE Survivor Series: WarGames pay-per-view event.
In a response to a Tweet by Ibou of Self Made, who stated that John Cena will be wrestling at the upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view in the men’s WarGames match, Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net replied, confirming that WWE has had the plan in place for Cena to wrestle on the show for weeks.

This would mean Cena would team with two of his former rivals, CM Punk and Cody Rhodes, as well as Jey Uso, to take on The Vision’s Logan Paul, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed, meaning the heels will also need to add a fourth teammate.
Who Could Be Joining John Cena In The WarGames Match?
If John Cena does join the babyface team at Survivor Series, that would mean that The Vision will need to find a fourth member of their team to join them in the WarGames match. Seth Rollins was a member of The Vision, but he is currently out with a serious shoulder injury and is not expected back for six months. Plus, Breakker and Reed turned on Rollins prior to his leaving to recover from his injury.
Another name could be Dominik Mysterio, as Cena defeated him on last night’s episode of Raw to win the Intercontinental Title, meaning Mysterio would have motivation to get revenge on Cena. But Mysterio is likely going to face his father, Rey Mysterio, in a match at Survivor Series, as they teased the match on last week’s episode of Raw.
