John Cena recently made a special appearance at Seth Rollins’ Black & Brave Wrestling Academy in Davenport, Iowa, where he spent several hours coaching aspiring wrestlers. According to a post shared by the academy, the 17-time world champion taught classes, answered questions and later provided one-on-one guidance to graduates. The academy praised Cena for his generosity and described it as an honour to host the retired WWE veteran for the guest coaching session.
Cody Rhodes says he is no longer completely against the idea of turning heel in WWE, but made it clear he will not change character simply because fans online want it to happen. Speaking on “What Do You Wanna Talk About?”, Rhodes explained that he is open to a heel turn if the story naturally requires it, but right now, he is enjoying being himself on television. Cody added that some of his decisions may get cheered while others may get booed, but he has no interest in forcing a personality change to satisfy online fantasy booking. The comments continue Rhodes’ softer stance on a potential heel turn after previously admitting in April that he was now “open to all paths and avenues” creatively, despite once insisting a heel turn would never happen.
