On social media, Cena’s dad wrote: “Say it ain’t so Joe. It is so, 12/13 Washington, Dc the Last Time is Now. SNME it’s the last time we can see him. My sons final match with the WWE. 20 plus years comes to an end. Thanks for the memories and all that you have done for everyone. So, proud my son. Your time is now.”

“Congratulations, John on an amazing career. What you’ve done for the sport and for WWE is insane. You’re a legend, congratulations,” said Fallon.
“Congratulations on an incredible career. You’ve impacted the lives of so many people inside the ring and outside the ring. Good luck in your last match. I hope you fare better in yours than I did in mine,” Brady commented.
Eli Manning said: “You have inspired so many people. You’ve won a ton of championships. Almost impressive for me to forgive the fact that you are a die-hard Patriots fan, But, hey, I guess nobody is perfect.”
“I have a warning. When you enter the grocery store or your garage there is no entrance music at all in retirement unless you play it yourself on your air-pods. That’s a free tip from me to you. Congratulations, pal,” said Peyton Manning.
Cena will have his final match tonight against Gunther on Saturday Night’s Main Event.
