Jim Ross has shared an encouraging update on his health ahead of AEW Double or Nothing later this month.
Speaking on his “Grilling JR” podcast, Jim Ross revealed that he recently underwent a major physical and received some of his strongest results in years across several key areas.
“All my vitals, my blood pressure, my blood sugar… was excellent. It’s the best numbers on my physical that I’ve gotten in years,” he said.
Ross noted there were some concerns regarding his kidneys, which he believes may be linked to medication, but stressed that overall, he is feeling positive following the check-up.
“I’m very blessed, very happy, and good results today,” he added.

Jim Ross also confirmed he will be in attendance for Double or Nothing on May 24 at the Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, although his exact role has yet to be determined.
“I’m going to be there… Don’t know exactly what yet, but whatever Tony Khan says, I’ll run the play,” he said, adding that he hopes to call matches again.
The WWE Hall of Famer acknowledged that his health can fluctuate, but said he remains ready to contribute wherever needed as AEW prepares for one of its biggest events of the year.
