Word is that Seth Rollins was legitimately injured during his match with LA Knight on Saturday Night’s Main Event last night.
Rollins performed a moonsault off the ropes and appeared to land awkwardly.
Rollins quickly made his way into a corner. As he spoke to Paul Heyman and the official he covered his face with his arm. A doctor came to the ring to check on Rollins.
Rollins can be seen saying to referee Jessika Carr and Paul Heyman…”It’s [unintelligible] [unintelligible] hurt…as he points to his knee.
Rollins finished the match allowing LA Knight to pin him. Rollins was supposed to win the match. Fan footage shows Rollins being helped to the back as he limps.
Word is the entire ending of the show was altered due to Rollins’ injury. It could be that he was going to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase.
It is not clear how serious the injury is.
Rollins’ knee injuries have sidelined him three times during his career including an MCL injury and a torn meniscus that required surgery.
