A familiar face returned to WWE Raw this week, while another recent arrival was quietly spotted backstage.
JD McDonagh appeared on the February 16 episode of Raw in Memphis, marking his first on-screen appearance in several weeks. According to PWInsider, McDonagh was spotted backstage at the FedExForum prior to the show starting alongside another notable name.
The Judgment Day member had been out of action since December 2025, when he stepped away to undergo surgery for lingering injuries. At the time, he wrote on social media:
“Been working thru some stuff for the last few months, but now is the time to pump the brakes and get put back together. Won’t be long. brb.”
McDonagh returned as part of a segment involving Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, and CM Punk, ahead of Balor and Punk’s world title match at Elimination Chamber, signalling his comeback to WWE television following the procedure.
Who Else Was Seen Backstage At WWE Raw?
PWInsider also reported that Royce Keys was present backstage at Raw. Keys, formerly known as Powerhouse Hobbs, made his WWE debut in the 2026 Royal Rumble in Riyadh, where he eliminated former world champion Damian Priest.
The former AEW star recently competed in a dark match against Nathan Frazer before SmackDown, and his presence in Memphis suggests WWE may have further plans for him following his Royal Rumble debut.
