An injured WWE star has given an update on their recovery six weeks post-op.
Piper Niven has shared a positive update on her recovery after undergoing neck surgery. The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion has been out of action since August 2025 after aggravating a pre-existing neck injury and underwent surgery last month.
Taking to social media on Thursday, Niven revealed she had attended her six-week post-operative check-up and that her recovery is progressing well.
“6-week post-surgery check-up today. Everything is fusing nicely.”
Niven then injected some humour into the update, writing:
“Neck straighter than my sexual preferences.”
When a fan asked whether she was able to turn her head from side to side again, Niven replied:
“Very happy to say it does let me go both ways, yes.”
Piper Niven Previously Addressed Her WWE In-Ring Future Following Her Neck Injury
Earlier this month, Piper Niven also addressed questions about her WWE in-ring future, cautioning fans that her recovery will take time.
“Don’t count me out just yet, chick. Just letting people know that it will be a long time and maybe possibly not at all, so we don’t have to answer the same question 50 times a stream.”
Niven has not wrestled since the August 22, 2025 edition of SmackDown in Dublin, Ireland, where she is believed to have aggravated the neck injury that ultimately required surgery.
