An injured WWE Champion made their return on last night’s episode of WWE Raw.
Dominik Mysterio made his return to Raw on Monday night, appearing for the first time since suffering a shoulder injury two months ago.
The Intercontinental Champion and AAA Mega Champion came to the ring in street clothes, carrying both of his championship belts, before introducing his on-screen girlfriend, Liv Morgan, the winner of the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble. Morgan went on to have separate confrontations with Raquel Rodriguez and Stephanie Vaquer, the WWE Women’s World Champion, while Mysterio remained at ringside and did not become physically involved.
Mysterio’s next scheduled in-ring appearance is set for AAA. He is due to defend the AAA Mega Championship against El Hijo del Vikingo at Rey de Reyes on March 14 at the Auditorio GNP Seguros in Puebla, Mexico.
Was Dominik Mysterio Injured At A WWE Event?
Dominik Mysterio was not injured at a WWE event. The injury that sidelined Mysterio was suffered on December 20 at Guerra de Titanes, where he and El Grande Americano lost to Rey Mysterio and Rey Fenix.
On last week’s episode of AAA on Fox, it was announced that Mysterio will appear on next week’s show to confront Americano, continuing their rivalry following his return from injury.
Mysterio has held the Intercontinental Title since Survivor Series on November 29, 2025, where he defeated John Cena to recapture the belt. And he has held the AAA Mega Championship since September 12, 2025, when he defeated El Hijo del Vikingo at Worlds Collide in Las Vegas.
