An injured AEW star may be closer to an in-ring return than expected, with a new tease putting this weekend’s pay-per-view in focus.
Speaking on VANCOLOUR, Kyle O’Reilly discussed his time away from the ring and hinted that he could be back in time for AEW Dynasty on April 12, 2026.
“I really wanna be ready in time for the Vancouver pay-per-view, which is Dynasty, coming up this weekend from Rogers Arena,” he said. “So wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Maybe I’ll be back in time for that.”
The event will take place in Vancouver, British Columbia, adding further intrigue given the star’s connection to the area.
When Did Kyle O’Reilly Pick Up His Injury In AEW?
Kyle O’Reilly has been sidelined for several months due to injury. He was last seen competing at Full Gear 2025, where he faced Jon Moxley in a No Holds Barred match. He later confirmed during a December 2025 appearance on AEW Dynamite that he was dealing with a bulging disc in his neck, which has kept him out of action since.
While no official return has been announced, the latest comments have fuelled speculation that O’Reilly could make his comeback at Dynasty.
