The identity of the guest commentator who appeared but never spoke during WrestleMania 42 has now been confirmed.
During the WWE Women’s Championship match between Jade Cargill and Rhea Ripley on night two, viewers saw a surprise addition at the commentary desk. The individual was introduced on the broadcast but did not contribute at any point during the match, leading to confusion about his role.
That individual has since been identified as Adam Weitsman, the owner and CEO of Upstate Shredding, a scrap metal company based in New York. Weitsman has been recognised as a billionaire since 2022 and is known for attending high-profile events.
WWE Has Not Provided A Reason For Why Weitsman Was On Commentary At WrestleMania 42
His presence without any on-air involvement quickly became a talking point, with viewers questioning why he had been positioned on commentary without speaking. WWE has not clarified whether he was intended to take part in the broadcast or was simply given a unique ringside experience.
The moment came during a match that ultimately saw Ripley defeat Cargill to reclaim the WWE Women’s Championship, with the focus shifting back to the in-ring action as the bout reached its conclusion.
