A piece of wrestling history has shattered records. Hulk Hogan’s match-worn boots from WrestleMania I have sold for $1,037,000 through Heritage Auctions, becoming the first professional wrestling collectable to surpass the $1,000,000 mark.
Hulk Hogan wore the boots during the main event of WrestleMania I on March 31, 1985, at Madison Square Garden, where he teamed with Mr T to defeat Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff. The bout is widely credited with propelling WWE into the mainstream and cementing WrestleMania as a pop culture phenomenon.
According to Heritage Auctions, the boots were photo-matched to the event and came with full PSA/DNA authentication. Hogan had personally inscribed them with the message: “These are my real boots with my real blood on them from MSG.”
Which Current WWE Star Bid On Hulk Hogan’s WrestleMania I Boots?
WWE Superstar Logan Paul revealed on social media that he was involved in a late-night bidding war for the boots, staying up until 2 a.m. and pushing the price to $1,021,750 before ultimately being outbid.
The sale comes several months after Hogan’s passing in July 2025 at the age of 71. Earlier this year, a separate Hogan boot from WrestleMania X8 sold for $146,400, highlighting the dramatic jump in value achieved by this auction.
