The late Hulk Hogan once shared a surprising pick for his favourite holiday movie.
Hulk Hogan once surprised fans by naming Santa with Muscles as his favourite Christmas film. In a past interview with MrSantiZap, Hogan enthusiastically backed the 1996 movie, in which he starred as Blake Thorn, a wealthy businessman who ends up believing he is Santa Claus after suffering amnesia. Hogan wasted no time promoting the film when asked about his holiday favourite.
“You haven’t seen Santa with Muscles?” Hogan said. “Hulk Hogan as Santa with Muscles. I play Blake Thorn, the richest man in the world who turns into Santa Claus. Come on, man.”
Hogan also pointed out that the film featured a very young Mila Kunis in one of her earliest acting roles. Kunis, who was eight years old at the time, later went on to star in That ’70s Show and Black Swan.
“You know who’s in that movie? Ashton Kutcher’s wife, Mila Kunis,” Hogan said. “She was like eight years old at the time.”
Released during the height of Hogan’s wrestling fame, Santa with Muscles follows Thorn as he rediscovers the meaning of Christmas while trying to save an orphanage from a corrupt businessman. Although the film received mixed reviews upon release, it has since developed a cult following, with fans embracing its over-the-top humour and Hogan’s larger-than-life performance.
How Many Movies Did Hulk Hogan Star In?
