The pride of New York and Puerto Rico is hanging up his boots.
Homicide (Nelson Erazo) has announced that he is retiring from in-ring action after 31 years in the business.
Outlaw Wresting announced that he will be having his last match on March 2oth in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. He is currently the promotion’s champion.
Homicide began as part of The Wrecking Crew in Long Island Wrestling Federation and soon made a name for himself in New Jersey and New York.
He soon became a star in RoH taking on everyone from Steve Corino, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles to Bryan Danielson. He defeated Bryan Danielson to become the ROH World Champion in Glory by Honor IV in 2005. He held the title for 56 days before dropping it to Takeshi Morishima at The Fifth Year Festival: Philadelphia.
For almost 10 years he terrorized Total Nonstop Action Wrestling as part of The Latin American Xchange with partner Hernandez, eventually becoming the TNA World Tag Team Champions.
